Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking professional talent for a Acquisition Specialist, in the Nation Capital Region (NCR) to support the Mission Partner Capabilities Office (MPCO). The MPCO assumes responsibility for an operating environment that enables C2 for operations support planning and execution on a network infrastructure at a single security level with a common language.

Our new Acquisition Specialist assists the MPCO with the planning for future contracts and acquisition efforts as well as the following:

- Assists the MPCO and BCO with the receipt, management and documentation of the execution for MPCO and US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System Extended (BICES-X) Enterprise contracts

- Provides recommendations and support the MPCO and the BCO craft future acquisition strategy and follow-on contracting actions

- Assist in portfolio management across the spectrum of CDMN contracts, to include monitoring contracts, expirations, transition onto and off of contracts and status reporting to leadership within the CDMX organization and to higher headquarters

- Perform general acquisition-related activities, including but not limited to the following: producing acquisition-related documentation potentially including, but not limited to: an Acquisition Plan that includes a work breakdown structure, risk matrix, and risk mitigation strategies, Independent Government Cost Estimates, various sections of the solicitation package (e.g., scope of services, performance work statement, statement of objectives, transition plan, instruction to the offeror, market research, and evaluation criteria), a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, proposal instructions, documentation (plans, evaluation reports, briefings, summaries, etc.) produced during source selection and provide help to the MPCO with Requests for Information (RFIs) and coordination of Industry Days

Required Skills:

- 10 years experience in project management with DoD acquisition, with experience applying the FAR, including supplements to acquisition processes

- 10 years experience in leading customer interactions to develop acquisition strategies based on market research and solicitations with selection criteria or instructions to enable contract award to satisfy customer requirements

- 6 years experience within a component of DoD and procurements including cost or price analysis, negotiations, and preparation of contract documentation for a services, supplies and IT acquisition

- MUST have supported AF source selection and major sole source procurements


MA/MS or BA/BS with 4 additional years of relevant acquisition experience
