TAPS SAF/CDM: Network Engineer [2021-78]

Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking professional talent for a Network Engineer, in the National Capital Region to support the Mission Partner Capabilities Office (MPCO). The MPCO assumes responsibility for an operating environment that enables C2 for operations support planning and execution on a network infrastructure at a single security level with a common language.

Our new Network Engineer provides the following:

- Technical support and recommendations on network solutions to federate the MPCO/BCO Enterprise

- Supports MPCO staff in identifying network solutions

- Works in conjunction with MPCO government staff to identify networking solutions to support the extension of capabilities to support military operations in any theater of operations, including recommendations on the deployment of capabilities aboard naval vessels, aircraft, in austere locations, implementations requiring mobility, and as required, with partner nation forces

- Performs engineering and IT technical analyses for all phases of the Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) cycle - that is, Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations and Continuous Improvement. The analyses address people, applications, processes, tools, hardware, data, infrastructure, systems and storage associated with each phase

- Perform engineering and technical analyses of the MPE portfolio. The analyses address technical feasibility, alternative technologies, state-of-the-art and emerging technologies, logistics support, technology roadmaps, risk, earned value management, innovation, quality assurance, key performance parameters and key indicators and service-level agreements. Analyses are performed on all networks up to and including JWICS (SCI), including FMN Protected Core Networking (PCN) and Cloud.

Required Skills:

- 6 Years Experience in support of military networks with specific experience supporting special operations forces, with at least three years' experience deploying or actively supporting coalition or bilateral military information sharing efforts and at least two years' experience working with the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands or with NATO.

- 10 years Experience in the design, testing, implementation and sustainment of information sharing network solutions and knowledge of satellite and terrestrial communications.



Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Information Technology, or Engineering-related discipline. OR Bachelor's Degree in the above disciplines plus 4 years additional work experience related to Network Engineering.

10 yrs experience in networks and network engineering; 6 years functional experience as outlined in Required Skills
