International Partner (IP) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Analyst in Colorado Springs, CO. This position provides technical analysis to support IP agreements, contingency and non-contingency operations, and advice and assistance with planning, management, and control activities. Supports trending and analysis and provides subject matter expertise for all IP SATCOM agreements and IP resources available to support U.S. missions in the event of a crisis or contingency.

• Monitors Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), Memorandums of Agreement (MOA), Communications Agreements (CA), and Space Support Requests (SSR) with IPs and foreign nations to assist with ensuring the U.S. provides appropriate resource allocation and user support

• Tracks and reports IP usage of U.S. resources and U.S. usage of IP resources

• Provides technical analysis in support of IP MOU, MOA, CA, and SSR operational SATCOM missions, including planning, monitoring, management and control, and EMI mitigation, resolution and recovery

• Assists with the Government’s revision of plans, policies, and documents to account for future changes in IP SATCOM requirements in support of operational decisions

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated relevant experience with the SATCOM apportionment planning and allocation process is desired

• Familiarity with SATCOM IP MOUs, MOAs, CAs, and SSRs is strongly desired

• Familiarity with USSPACECOM organization is desired

• Familiarity with Joint processes, operations, and commands is desired

(Desired) Degree, certifications, or experience in a systems engineering related field with a specialization in computer science, information technology, or electrical engineering

• At least eight (8) years of relevant experience and/or education in communication principles theory in SATCOM, access processes • At least eight (8) years of relevant experience in at least one of the following SATCOM-related communication and computer systems and capabilities: Wideband, Narrowband, Commercial, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) monitoring, detection and/or resolution, and DoD Gateways/Teleports
