TITLE:
Security Engineer [2021-26]
PROGRAM:
CPASC/C-SAR
DESCRIPTION:
Provide security engineering support to CPASC for versions of the CACE CCS-C system. Support includes analysis of requirements, system security test plans, system security processes, and controls to maintain and enhance the authorization for the CCS-C system to operate and connect to the AFSCN.
Perform assessments for security impacts during issue analysis. Identify security risks at any point in the system lifecycle with special focus during engineering analysis of system modifications.
Support technical working groups to include the bi-weekly system engineering integrated product team (SE IPT), monthly Cybersecurity Working Group (CWG), monthly telemetry and command working group (TCWG), monthly scheduling and planning working group (SAPWG), monthly configuration control board (CCB), and additional ad-hoc technical meetings as required.
Present assessments at appropriate working groups in person or virtually for technical reviews, meetings and discussions as required.
Required Skills:
Proficiency with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) assessments and vulnerability assessments
Proficiency with SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), Host Based Security System (HBSS) and the Assured Compliance Assessment (ACAS) systems
DEGREE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
7 years or 5 years with a completed cybersecurity related Bachelor's degree
