Prototype Operations I (POPS-I)

Experienced Program Manager with United States Space Force (USSF) experience and knowledge of the satellite operations support at at the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation Support Complex (RSC) at Kirtland Air Force Base.

The program manager is responsible for overall responsiveness, cost control and reporting, adherence to schedule, ability to adapt to schedule changes, cooperative behavior, technical quality of work, management of contractor team to reflect DCI’s mission and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Provide effective coordination with the Government to ensure successful implementation of satellite operations support requirements.

Hire and maintain a skilled and certified workforce that has the ability to meet the requirements of assigned work activities.

Ensure all contractor personnel comply with Government operating instructions, policies, and procedures.

Prepare technical and cost proposals for contract requirements in support of DCI mission requirements.

Manage and provide budgetary information, identify labor and other direct costs including travel and training, track actual costs, and forecast time-phase planned expenditures.

Implement a quality control plan.

Participate in the POPS-I/Government risk management program with the Government team.

Required Skills:

Must have experience in the following:

Knowledge in Research & Development (R&D) satellite operations and support services

Experience communicating and working with Executive level government and non-government leadership and personnel

Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills

Lifecycle Project Management

Bachelor’s degree in Management or related engineering field

12+ years of industry-related experience, with 5 years of experience with DoD program management.
