Network Engineer (OSSE)

Candidate will be responsible for supporting customer network infrastructure to include design, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to development, trouble ticket resolution, system/equipment fielding and deployment, and crypto device support. The Network Engineer will also be responsible for critical network security, to include developing, implementing, and documenting regular security releases/updates utilizing current DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to ensure high compliance status is met. Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network design. Provide additional support to contractor site network infrastructure as needed.

Required Skills:


• Active DOD SECRET clearance

• Must Meet DOD 8570 Requirement (minimum Security+ or equivalent certification)

• Minimum 3 years experience with Cisco routers, switches, TCP/IP, DHCP, & DNS

• Network design and configuration experience

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Interpersonal/communications skills a must


• Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA) a plus

• Experience with crypto devices

• Cisco IOS, ASDM Firewalls, ACLs, VPN

• Basic Windows, Solaris, and Red Hat Linux familiarity

• Polycom VTC knowledge

Bachelors in a STEM or related field. Practical experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
