INTRODUCTION
The Prototype Operations I (POPS-I) contract is a procurement for Research & Development (R&D) satellite operations and support services. Infinity Systems Engineering (Infinity) will perform satellite operations and associated support services at the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Development Corp (DC), Innovation and Prototyping Directorate (DCI), Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) Support Complex (RSC) at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), Albuquerque, New Mexico, as well as satellite operations support for various entities including, but not limited to, Schriever AFB, CO. The directorate’s goal is to accelerate mission design and integration, launch operations, and ground system test support to provide reliable, low-cost access to space.
